The BACID programme organizes knowledge transfer between Austrian institutions and organizations in the Western Balkans. EuroVienna participated in four of such small-scale projects between 2016 and 2019 in Albania, Montenegro and Serbia.

Project summary

The aim of the project was to train municipal employees in the area of EU-projects and to provide them with the most important guidelines regarding EU project management. A total of 25 people from Montenegro, 28 people from Serbia and more than 50 people from Albania were supported.

Results and impact

More than 100 people were trained and supporting work documents were prepared. In addition to EU funding opportunities, the focus was on the development potential of the participating regions.
