Sylvia Fuchs, Managing Director of EuroVienna EU-consulting & -management GmbH since 2012 and Managing Director of EU-Förderagentur GmbH since 2007. She began her professional career in 1983 in the Presidential Office of the Mayor of Vienna and continued in the Press and Information Service of the City of Vienna. Due to ongoing further training (e.g. Austrian Controlling Institute), Sylvia Fuchs increasingly specialized in the field of financial planning, controlling and management. She has therefore been working in various roles in financial management since 1995: Municipal Department 18 - Office for International Relations, Municipal Directorate - International Relations, Municipal Directorate - Coordination Office and TINA Vienna - Transport Strategies GmbH. In 2007, Sylvia Fuchs took on the position of Managing Director of the EU-Förderagentur to support Viennese departments in the application and implementation of EU-funded projects. In 2012, she set up EuroVienna, which offers similar services to the EU funding agency for companies outside the administration of the City of Vienna. In addition to her management tasks, Sylvia Fuchs' activities focus on project and financial management of EU-cofinanced projects (ERDF, ESF, FP7, EU Commission programmes), administration of trust accounts, project financing management for ERDF co-financed projects, ongoing process optimization for the management of standardized procedures in terms of cost-effectiveness, efficient management of the organization's human resources in compliance with all specifications and guidelines.
